Problems/Issues
As the holding tanks are used over time they develop scum buildup on the sides and sensor and develop strong odors. When the tanks are drained scum builds up, reduces the tank capacity and becomes more difficult to clean. The use of chemicals to treat the waste is becoming a problem since dump stations are refusing to accept the waste due to the toxicity of the chemicals used to treat/clean the waste.
Description
An RV/boat has what is referred to as a gray water holding tank and a black water holding tank. The gray water holding tank collects dirty water from the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and shower. The black water holding tank is for the toilet. These tanks terminate into one main outlet used to empty the holding tanks.
Initial Treatment
Mix UZP Enzymatic Treatment with warm water, pour into toilet and flush or pour the mixture directly into the holding tank. Fill the balance of the tank with water and let it stand for two days. Drain tank and flush with water to clean the tank. When toilet is used again add additional UZP Enzymatic Treatment with warm water to toilet and flush. This should be sufficient for control of odors. MORE ...
